Ann Carroll Bundy (Galbraith) earned a Bachelors of Music in Flute Performance with Honors from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music where she studied with Jim Walker (Former Principal Flute of the LA Philharmonic). Ann did her post-graduate studies with Trevor Wye in Kent, England. She also attended the Holland Music Sessions in Bergen, the Netherlands and the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara. Ann was a Yamaha Young Performing Artist.

Ann performed as Principal Flute in the USC Symphony, Wind Ensemble, Contemporary Music Ensemble, and Opera Orchestra. She was Principal Flute with the American Youth Symphony. She was awarded a scholarship through the University of Michigan to attend the summer program at Interlochen where she was Principal Flute of the orchestra.

Ann was a winner of the Texas Flute Society Jeanne Baxtresser Masterclass competition and the University of Toledo Jean Pierre-Rampal Masterclass competition. She has also won the Bellflower Symphony Concerto Competition and the Kalamazoo Concert Band Soloist Competition.

She was the recipient of the Geoffrey Gilbert Memorial Scholarship as the First Prize Winner of the National Flute Association High School Soloist Competition.

Ann was awarded the Carol Sykes scholarship through Suzuki:MA and completed her Suzuki Unit 1 teacher training at the Hartt Suzuki Institute. 

Ann was a Young Musicians Foundation Youth Mentor Artist in Los Angeles where she brought premier musical instruction to high at-risk youth who would otherwise have little or no exposure to music education or live music experiences.
