BOSTON AREA FLUTE PLAYER

Elegant flute music for any special occasion ranging from lavish weddings to informal background music at your event.

As Principal Flute of the U.S. Coast Guard Band and Woodwind Quintet, Ann Carroll (Galbraith) Bundy has had the privilege of performing for dignitaries including the President of the United States as well as the King of England. She has been an invited soloist and guest clinician throughout North America.  During her time as Principal Flute with the Debut Orchestra of Los Angeles, she was fortunate enough to play under the baton of Zubin Mehta, John Williams, Danny Elfman, Elmer Bernstein, Merv Griffin, and Bobby McFerrin. Some memorable performances include being part of the musical fanfare at the grand opening of the J. Paul Getty Museum and sharing the stage with with Eric Idle (Monty Python), Jodi Benson (The Little Mermaid), and Michael Crawford (Phantom of the Opera. Another treasured performance was as a soloist in Barber’s Capricorn Concerto with Los Colinas Symphony in Texas. Ann has performed in a variety of venues including opera singer Ganna Walska’s Lotusland, Harvard University, and on America’s Tall Ship the Eagle. She performed the Telemann Triple Concerto in E at the Worcester Museum of Art’s Flora in Winter Exhibit.  Ann performed at Wright Brother’s National Memorial in Kitty Hawk, NC for the 100th anniversary of flight. She was fortunate enough to share the stage with Sir James Galway at his 60th birthday celebration in London. She has been a featured musician on National Public Radio with vocalist Tracy Thomas and harpist Susan Thomas. Ann currently enjoys being a freelance flutist performing throughout New England in orchestras, chamber groups, musicals, premiering new compositions for flute, and as a featured soloist. She is a founding member of the Aquarius Chamber Players. In her free time, Ann enjoys playing Irish traditional music with her family.
